A few notes for creating a csv file to import a calendar into MS Outlook. Key fields are: Subject, Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time, All Day Event, Categories, Show Time As ‘Show Time As’ possible values: 1- Tentative 2- Busy 3- Free 4- Out of Office It is also possible to include Location and Description fields.

Big and tiny URL

Via OUseful blog , comes this very handy service for presenters who want to display a short URL on the screen that the audience can quickly write down instead of a very long unwieldy URL. There is a bookmarklet available so that the user can create a tiny URL for the page they are currently on, but display it in big letters with just a click or two. Bibus is a free bibliographic reference management application, developed by Pierre Matineau.
