UDC

025 Universal Decimal Classification
I haven’t worked with UDC scheme, and the last time I paid any attention to it was back in the days of studying for my library qualifications. UDC is analytico-synthetic scheme that allows for any number of aspects of a topic to be expressed in a classification number. In addition the format of the information carrier (book, document, film, audiorecording etc) can be included in the notation.
The summary is available under a creative commons licence, and available in SKOS format for linked data usage.
