I just saw this interesting flowchart on Books, Libraries Cats, and it got some ideas going – a live version of this that hooks into your library inventory and show books based on genre/subject that are immediately available. I reckon the book options should change automatically every few seconds, or when the user clicks a no-thanks link, and a light box appear if they click on it to see more details. User can then click through to reserve it if they are remote, or just go grab it from the shelf.
Has anyone seen something like that already?
