I just added Bond University's library catalogue to my smartphone. The library uses Summon which has a nice clean mobile interface.
I pointed Safari to the catalog and then sent the bookmark to my homepage.
This is great. I can easily carry the catalogue with me as I browse the shelves. No more writing down call numbers, or taking photos of the computer screen.
Another method I've used is to save records in Summon and then email them to my Evernote account. Then I access Evernote in the library. The links open up the catalogue to check on call numbers. Mostly though I use the e-text versions of articles or books. But sometimes only a hard copy is available or suitable for purpose (when an e-loan is for too short a period)
