I've just installed the free Mendeley app on the iPad and once I turned off the auto sync it seems to be just fine. That's not to say that auto syncing is a problem. I suspect I was just too impatient to get started and the app would close if I tried anything too soon.
PDFs are synced. I'm not sure that my link resolved settings are usable on the iPad because in the view-on-web feature the drop down menu didn't seem to work properly. But maybe it needs more testing. Otherwise all good, and a nice way to read those citations that are saved for reading in the future.
