Sometimes the twitter stream is more than can be taken in. My non-library followers may have liked this tool last month when I was tweeting (with others) at VALA2010.
Muuter enables temporary ‘muting’ of a twitter account, or tweets containing designated keywords or hashtags. Login with your Twitter account, set a time period and identify the account you don’t want to follow.
On two occasions now I could have used this. Both of them were twitterers attending conferences that were of no or very little relevance to me, but I didn’t want to unfollow them permanently.
