Split Personas, originally uploaded by petaj.
David Warlick (my 2c worth) uses a Personas image as his blog header. When I thought about this idea, the first thing that occurred to me is that over time one could expect their online presence to vary so the header might want some regular updating.
Little did I think that mine could look so different just in the space of 15 minutes.
How does Personas generate these categories?
"Enter your name, and Personas scours the web for information and attempts to characterize the person - to fit them to a predetermined set of categories that an algorithmic process created from a massive corpus of data. The computational process is visualized with each stage of the analysis, finally resulting in the presentation of a seemingly authoritative personal profile. " -- Personas Home Page
