I went to the first social media barcamp Gold Coast after work. I didn't have to go far, it was at MPOW. Unfortunately, it was a rather small group, but the few of us who were there still managed to learn some new things.
Glenn (aussie tech heads) showed us Mogulus, Duncan showed us his new blog location (inspiration room daily) and we discussed the best way to promote the next event to boost numbers, and alternative times that would suit more would be attendees.
When that wrapped up Michael and I headed over to the Gold Coasts Twitterers' meet up. So I have a few more to follow now.
