Either digital camera or camera phone can be used to digitize documents such as handwritten notes, whiteboards, and more. The image is then emailed/MMS/uploaded to Qipit which converts it to PDF and hosts it for sharing online, via email or faxing.
We often get requests from students wanting to fax something from the library - and we don't offer a fax service. Maybe this will help them out.
My phone is not on the list of those tested by qipit, and I don't have my camera with me so I haven't tested it yet. Stay tuned.
