- 60% of students preferred to use computers in the library than elsewhere. The only group that didn't fit this trend were health science students. This was thought to be related to the use of specialised applications and teaching methods in that discipline.
- Only 7% said they never used computing facilities in the library
- Most important criteria for students in selecting where to use computers was immediate availability
- Second most important criteria was the cost of printing.
