The pointer came from The Distant Librarian to this useful list (and demo) of rss to web page tools.
I've tried a few of these, not heard of others. I think it's time to have another look over some of the options.
MPOW currently uses feed2js to get the Library blog feed to display on the home page, because that was one of the first successful attempts we had. The styling on this list for feed2js is plain, but can be modified completely using css.
One that has been left out is feedburner's scrolling badge - as seen in this blog's sidebar with librariesinteract.info
